Activities Summary
In June 2000, Paul Elicker held discussions with the directors of the Vilnius Art Museum who expressed interest in ways The Fund might lend its expertise in three areas of their museum operations: exhibition display, conservation and collections security.
The Fund suggested sending an expert consultant to address these three areas and evaluate what, if any, follow-up assistance is needed. Ward Mintz, Deputy Director of the The Newark Museum in Newark, New Jersey has agreed to represent The Fund in this matter. We were not able to schedule a visit in the fall of 2000 but will continue to seek a mutually agreeable date for a consultation
