The Funds Hungarian Advisory Committee

the Monument Protection Authority, the Budapest Philharmonic Orchestra, the architect for the forthcoming Modern Art Museum and the Civil Society Development Fund, was to ascertain whether there are pending projects in Hungary that warrant furter Fund attention and involvement. The consensus of the Advisory Committee was that activities in Hungary are well underway and that The Funds role is essentially completed. It was agreed that most cultural leaders are aware of the kind of help that can be provided by The Fund, but that The Fund should remain on call in the event there are further requests for assistance. The Civil Society Development Fund, whose activities are not limited to Hungary, indicated that they will welcome Fund cooperation and will contact us in the future.
